LG cube
What is Lg CUBE
LG cube is the spinning Cube found in several LG Television..

It appears on the screen when there is NO SIGNAL
The history of lg cube
LG Cube was first found in LG TV in the year 2009 and was used until 2014
In 2014 it only appeared in NON-SMART Tv and netcast 4.5 TV because WebOS deleted the cube and the BLOB was installed instead.
This is the blob:

In later webOS they also replaced blob with some random images.
But you can return the blob - 1. spam mute for 5 seconds 2. then in the menu disable images on no signal
However, there is a problem - They replaced colorful blob with gray... So sadly. But you can root the TV and replace the blob with anything you want
Before the Lg cube
Before the Lg cube was introduced this animation was used:::

Some low end TVs might also just show NO SIGNAL text... If you see this you need to throw it in trash
Versions of LG cube
Not many people KNOW that there are 2 versions of the LG cube
Version 2009-2013

This is the first version of LG cube..
Version 2014

At first, you might not notice the difference, BUT the LG logo has been changed to the NEW style, as you can see. this was only used in 2014 NON-webOS TVs
Other versions of LG cube...
Internet cube

This cube is found in the files of LG TV. Its purpose has not been determined, but from the strings used in the TV, this cube likely appears when updating the TV OTA Update.
Loading cube

This cube is found in IDB of 2011 emulator. That IDB also contains many interesting assets. The purpose of this cube is not known, But it is probably used as a loading animation
Magic remote cubes

These cubes are found in 2010 TVs with magic remote. They appear when you press Home button. They are also animated when highlited and when opened they pop out of the bottom.
Bluray player/ Home theater system Menu Cubes

These cubes are displayed on the main menu in 2010 Bluray players / Home theater systems. In this case they represent Ice cubes floating in water. There are actually two versions of this menu. One of them is animated and floating, in high end devices using LG's own OS and Broadcomm cpu. (Like lg hx995tz). The other version is present on devices with MEDIATEK common OS and platform, and is not animated and a little different. This version is shown below:

The mediatek cubes can be extracted easily because the firmware is not encrypted. The good cubes are sadly protected by LG with unkown encryption.
